My favorite channel on satellite TV is SOAPnet. On this channel, I get to watch all of my soap operas that I have missed throughout the day time hours at night after I am home from work. Since I have to work during the regular hours that soap operas are on, I find it highly convenient that I can come home and catch up with my soaps without missing a beat. I did not have this capability until I found an awesome Direct TV Los Angeles deal, where I currently live, and I had to get the service after finding out all the amazing perks that come with it.

This is so much more easier then when I had to set a hard to understand VCR and go to work hoping that my programs would record. I also like how on this channel sometimes you can watch special programs about the people who play the characters on the soap operas that I enjoy watching. I like to see how the people are the same and how they are different then the characters that they play.

Another great thing is that if I miss my soap operas late at night then they do marathons on the week end and show soap operas for the whole week in one shot. I really like this because some weekends when I have nothing that needs to be done I like to sit and take it easy and rewatch the whole week’s soap operas. It is a great way for me to relax and take a time out for myself. For anyone who does not have SOAPnet then I would highly suggest calling your provider and requesting it. It is wonderful!
